The NCAA officially made it legal for athletes to profit off of their NILs on July 1, 2021.

The ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing.

Players are not restricted from realizing their market value as a student athlete.

Academics First

TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory is accredited by the National Accreditation of Christian Private Schools. In partnership with American High School who is a fully accredited K-12. With this partnership TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory is able to reach students from around the world. Students will have access to make-Up and drop classes while being able to recover courses (including remedial, regular, honors courses. Students can enroll in up to 6 courses.

We provide students with the flexibility to learn at their own pace that meets their individual needs and agendas. The contemporary program and individualized plans help students discover their full potential in whatever pathway they choose in the future. Whether your student needs to be academically challenged, needs additional support, desires a more flexible schedule, and prefers to work from the comfort of the home, TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory is a great choice!

The National Accreditation of Christian Private Schools is a Christian organization dedicated to recognizing and improving the spiritual and educational quality of Private and Christian Schools, regardless of size and student body. NACPS accredits public and private schools throughout Florida. NACPS accreditation is an ongoing five year cycle of quality whereby schools demonstrate the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory offers a variety of tutoring opportunities, including assistance during both school sessions as well as evening tutoring options. Fee-based private tutoring sessions are also available. Available to all enrolled student-athletes, the summer school program is the perfect balance of ongoing coursework with personalized sport training.

Exceptional Student Education

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act protects the civil rights of persons with disabilities. It prohibits discrimination against a person with a disability by an agency receiving federal funds.

Our vibrant group of experienced coaches, academic teachers, whom we refer to as "Lead Instructors" , make up our "Epic Center." Our on-site "Lead Instructors" have a track record of success, possess in-depth subject knowledge, and have undergone extensive training to make sure that on-site learning sessions are interesting, interactive, and filled with debate about challenging topics and subject matter that will support a strong knowledgeable athlete.

TLAP Sports Academy recognizes that it takes far more than just skills to be a successful athlete. TLAP desires to empower the whole player to give athletes the mental, physical and emotional edge they need to succeed on and off the court. Student-athletes experience an atmosphere that closely mirrors the intensity and schedule of a collegiate program. TLAP is committed to offering high levels with detailed sports performance and basketball skills training. Each student-athlete is surrounded by a support team inclusive of experienced coaches, academic teachers, knowledgeable college placement advisors, and more. TLAP offers various levels within the program, including a National high school team and Post-Graduate opportunities.
